It is weekend and time to don the Chef’s hat again at home! 🙂 Pepper Chicken it is!
As always, after a quick glance at the recipes on YouTube, zeroed in on Pepper Chicken by Madras Samayal as it looked very simple and easy! Measurements are twice that of what is used in the video.
In between, I felt the chicken could have a little more of the ground masala, so added a bit more to taste.
Most importantly, hand-ground pepper, saunf and jeera without a doubt was super strong and flavorsome! Loved the experiment of grinding it by hand, though tiring ! 🙂 I used shallots instead of regular onions.
Now the actual making of Pepper Chicken!
At this point I felt if it needed a little more of ground pepper,saunf and jeera. Added a little more and it was fine!
Pepper chicken turned out to be wonderful and extremely tasty! The other dish for lunch was Prawns Thokku which was a stunner too. It was quite a competition so to say 😉
