A Salad Company

Thanks to another foodie in a Facebook Food Group, I was sort of tempted to try ‘A Salad Company’ after looking at that post, and I’m happy I did!

Orders have to be placed a day in advance. Tried to place an order this morning and I wasn’t able to order for today’s lunch. I should thank A Salad Company for accommodating my request in such short time, they agreed to deliver one Non-Veg Salad Box to my place for lunch today ! Their menu rotates every week I suppose, and today’s option for non-veg lunch was ‘Baked Tortilla Corn and Chicken Salad’.
First of all, neatly packed, no spillage. As soon as I opened, I could see generous pieces of chicken in the salad that comprised of lettuce, baked tortilla cut into bits, chickpeas, Rajma(Red Kidney beans), Corn, Karamani(cow peas). There were small pieces of veggies too – carrot, baby corn, although very little. The salad dressing was a bit sour (assuming because of excess lime squeezed into it) to my liking, but then got used to it in a while. It is just a mention and not worth a complaint. Overall, a very nice ‘healthy’ alternative to normal food!
Don’t shoot me with questions pertaining to calorific values and so on, I said it from the perspective of eating a Biryani vs eating a Salad 😉 Rs 155 for this is absolutely worth it and I would certainly try again.
