My impression on Murugan Idli Shop has only changed for the better in the last years. Velachery, Nanganallur, Kaveripakkam and now Krishnagiri!
On our way back from Bengaluru, a friend and I stopped here for a late breakfast around 10:30AM and were quite skeptical if they would have anything at all. In fact they had most of the items at that time, but were closing breakfast soon.
We ordered a Ghee Podi Onion Oothappam, Podi idlies, Vadais, Ghee dosa and Coffee between the two of us. Loved the way it was served, more like a platter, a welcoming sight indeed! Immediately pounced on it as we were quite hungry too. Chutneys were fresh and tasty, Vadai was yummy, service was courteous.
One thing worth mentioning, they have clean restrooms, a must in any good restaurant on the highway. I would gladly come back again!
