Chennai Restaurant Reviews

Hotel Prasan Sandeepha

A welcome addition to Madipakkam, which lacks a nice vegetarian restaurant with an AC Dining Hall.

It is either A2B in Keelkattalai or Velachery or Durga Bhavan or similar ones. This place is located bang on the main road in Sadasivam Nagar, in the same complex that houses a garment shop ‘Shapes and Shades’, difficult to miss. Thanks to the recent widening of the road, there is ample space for bike parking. A few cars should be manageable I think. The ground floor is a non-AC dining hall, and the first floor is an AC Dining Hall. The place looks very nicely done.
Had a Butter Dosa, (not to confuse with Bengaluru/Mysore style Benne Dosa), this was a crispy dosa with butter instead of ghee, tasted very good. The chutneys were tasty, Sambhar was decent. A small cup of pineapple kesari was good. A plate of Chappathi Kurma was good, and nice Filter Coffee to end the dinner ! Overall a nice place. Should try their AC dining hall sometime after they settle down.
p.s – Had to manage with a front camera in my mobile in weird angles and people were really curious as to what I was upto 😉
