My first visit to Malgudi to specifically taste Guntur food. A nice atmosphere, wonderful ambience, good seating arrangement, very tasty food, exceeded my expectation.
Today was the last day of the Guntur Food Festival and it was my friend’s recommendation to try Andhra food, from Guntur.
We started with a couple of beers and starters – Alasandala garelu and kodi vepudu were wonderful. Expected it to be a little more spicy, but it was very tasty.
We ordered Kodi Biriyani, Guntur Kodi koora (traditional gravy) and Rage Sankatti (mudhdha or Kali as you may call it) for Main course. All the items were cooked to perfection and were very tasty.
Too full to order desserts, so we finished. We were very satisfied for having tried yummy food from Andhra.
Not sure about the normal menu, but definitely seems to be a very good place for fine dining.
