This is a nice restaurant, just two buildings away from Hotel Arunachala, very close to the Rajagopuram.
This restaurant had a nice ambience, and served good tasty food in the middle of the night. I think most of the restaurants are open until midnight or even operate 24 hours on Pournami days to cater to the demand of lakhs of devotees who turn up for girivalam.
We finished our girivalam by around 11:45PM, and since we were hungry, we stepped in around 12:00AM midnight and we had to wait for about 10 minutes to get a table 🙂 ! It was packed !
Loved the tiffin varieties. Service was quick, the people who serve/clean the tables wear head caps and that is appreciated.
This being right in front of the Rajagopuram, is a very apt choice for food after girivalam.
