I was actively searching for Litti-Chokha places in Chennai and came upon your page. Thanks for the info. Visited Mr Papdi and liked both the Litti Chokha (they offer aloo, baingan and tomato chokha) and the jalebi-rabri. Excellent service. The litti is much heavier than you think and I would suggest that initially two people share one plate of litti-chokha (take one ball each). Worth going back to try more dishes.

I can understand the frustration when you book a hotel in a 5 star hotel and things do not go the right way and mostly importantly on a special occasion. Very sad to see a 5 star hotel drop their service quality.
Also mostly you put the negative very subtly and due to the very bad experience, I can see why you were blunt in the review. Hope the Restaurant sees this review.
Lovely review – tasted as good as the items served and not the least the last part about the service – As usual quite an inviting post with the visuals inviting the appetite, of course now on a vegetarian meal.

Owners are very rude and arrogant. They also misbehaved and abuse women customers and manhandled my daughter. One fat man claiming to be owner was standing outside and misbehaving with me too and was giving wrong directions to staff to not serve chutney and to delay my order too for his male ego. Just because they have a rush of customers they are misbehaving with customers. Incometax and GST officials should raid their store for all sorts of malpractice they may be doing.
There is no parking also for this place. How did the corporation and police give them permission to open the place is a mystery.

On 26th June 2022 I have visited for morning breakfast with my family.After the breakfast I have paid the bill of Re.250 by G pay and left the hotel.when I was about to start the car the manager came to me and demanded the amount as the g pay is not success. But my account had debited by Re 250 so I have paid the amount in full. So far the amount which I paid not been credited if the g pay is not successful. I had even insulted by their acts. I never will visit parthasarathy hotel.

The first dosa is from Eating circles. The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear Ratna Cafe is Sambhar Idly, hence not considering it as a benchmark for Dosa.
Very clearly there are 2 places where the dosas are extremely good.
1. Hotel Sudha , ponamalee high road , near celery
2. Hotel ID Harrington road, chetpet

Interesting review of Achayathis Restaurant in Velachery, Chennai. Sounds like the food was hit or miss – some dishes were good while others lacked in quality. It is just a street corner food stall. No space to sit and dine. So much of hallabello about a street corner outlet. It is just a food stall selling bengalurrean foodies catering kannadigas. Nothing more nothing less. Don’t go overboard. Dishes are normal bengaluru varieties. If you want to eat leisurely sitting in a chair and enjoy the food this is NOT the place. For that you visit just opposite our own HSB. Dining is not a fast track event. You sit, relax and chew whatever you eat. For that this joint is Not the answer.
Please read my post again and tell me what is that I have mentioned differently than what is actually there. You may not be comfortable standing at eating, but all of Darshinis in Bengaluru have that kind of a set up. I personally do not like it either, but that doesn’t take away anything from what they serve. My experience with what I ate was very good. I can only write about my opinion based on my experience, not yours. Feel free to say this is not your preference, I am perfectly okay and respect it, but do not question my opinion, I am entitled to it and stand by what I have written. “Don’t go overboard” – This doesn’t warrant such a pleasant response, choose your words carefully, Sir.
