Visited Lassiwala, a small Punjabi Dhaba on the Vengaivasal Main Road in Santhoshapuram! One of my friends who stays close by mentioned the name and I vaguely remembered seeing a post on this place earlier.
Headed here only to find out they are sold out on most of the items ! Sunday evening, well past 21:30 and a place as small as that, I can understand ! However, the owner Preet was polite enough to tell us what they could make for us. Tandoori Aloo Paratha and Paneer Paratha were available, chicken pakoda aka chicken 65 was available. We got started with this. We got Dal and Chicken gravy as accompaniments along with onions and lime ! Ordered another Aloo and Paneer, Tawa paratha this time. Overall, food was very tasty and was a pity more items were not available! They were sold out on Lassi as they had a big group who visited just prior to us, and they finished it all! 🙁
Overall, wouldn’t be enough to judge a place just based on 2 parathas, but whatever we ate was awesome! They’re probably shifting to a big place in the vicinity very soon and I would like to visit again for a more elaborate dining experience!
Bill was 275 bucks, which was VFM in my opinion.
