Kailash Parbat, Phoenix Market City

A movie in Jazz Cinemas followed by dinner in the food court of Phoenix mall, an evening well-spent with family.

No mood for non-veg today, decided to have some stuff from Kailash Parbat. After a brief look at the menu, we decided to order – 1 Veg Combo, 1 Aloo Paratha, 2 Butter Naans, 1 Paneer Butter Masala and 1 Plate of Gulab Jamuns.
Veg Combo had potato fry, paneer butter masala, chole, Dal, 1 roti, a portion of veg pulav, papad and chaas. Pulav was extremely bland, and couldn’t get any taste out of it. Had to mix each spoon with the subzis to get some flavor. All sides were good otherwise.
Aloo Paratha, butter naan and paneer butter masala were good, and paneer was very soft.
Gulab jamun wasn’t as soft as I expected it to be, probably because the sugar syrup got a bit solidified, taste was good though.
Overall, a little less than 1K, and the good thing was that the guy readily gave change for 2000 bucks ! The paper plates and bowls were not the most comfy stuff to eat from, had to manage.

Overall, decent vegetarian North-Indian food, nothing wow about it. Since its in the food court, you have to hunt for tables, so be prepared 🙂
