The foodie in me specifically searched for a nice Maharashtrian non-veg Thali and zeroed in on two places. Maratha Samrat and Surve’s Pure Non-Veg. Couldn’t make it to the former as we were delayed. So decided to go to Surve’s Pure Non-Veg on FC Road.
‘Pure Non-Veg’ – I liked that declaration
Yummy is an understatement!!!! So different, so very tasty.
Chicken Alani for starters – very subtly spiced, soft and well-cooked chicken.
Chicken Thali, consisting of 2 Chappathis, chicken fry which was a semi-gravy actually, chicken keema, Chicken Rassa which was a flavorsome thin gravy, Indrayani rice or the sticky rice. We ordered two of these thalis.
An egg Thali which had egg semi-gravy, boiled egg and Rassa with chappathi!
They served us dalcha with rice, and gave us a small portion of biryani to taste.
Loved the food, and service couldn’t be any better ! The chef came to say a hello thanked him for the yummy food!
We paid about 1200 bucks which was absolutely well worth it!
If you’re in Pune, you should definitely try this! Mutton lovers have an option of having Mutton Thali too.
