Pleasant weather after a brief spell of rain, decided to go for a long drive and the first place that came to my mind was Mumbai Cafe, in Padur. I’ve been to this place long ago and really wanted to taste some nice authentic Mumbai stuff again. Here’s my experience from my last visit, more than a year back. Also heard that they have renovated their interiors! Sure enough, it was nice and a packed house when we entered. I had everything ready in my mind and ordered as soon as we managed to get a seat.
Vada Pav, Cheese Vada Pav, Misal Pav, Dabeli, Sabudana Kichdi, Ragda Patties, Gobi Paratha and finally Mumbai Cutting Chai ! 🙂 All the items were very tasty, and loved it ! Had a brief pleasant chat with Nilesh Naidu and Jyot N Naidu who own Mumbai Cafe! The rates were nominal and the bill amount was about 480 bucks for all this, and I got a friendly discount of about 20% 🙂
Distance is the only issue, otherwise I would visit often !
