Have been here with family about 4-5 times and last visit was about a month ago.
It is the same place previously known as Palimar restaurant. Entrance is on Nungambakkam High Road, just before The Park Hotel. The parking in this complex is cramped in general, however, they have a decent arrangement for Vegnation customers, so there is a dedicated place. Just ask the parking guys and they will direct you.
Tip: After you finish food and you are about to leave, ask for the parking token at the cash counter. You have to give that Token to the parking guy. That is the proof of having visited the restaurant 🙂
The restaurant has a decent seating arrangement, two sections, one for buffet and another for a la carte.
Moderately priced, special rate for children.
Decent food, a couple of starters, decent spread, a couple of desserts. Soup, breads and icecream served on the table. No complaints with these at all.
The issue is that one day you have a wonderful time and if you come back again, then you find starters are not tasty, soup is not hot, they dont refill soon, takes ages to bring roti to table and all this leaves you unsatisfied. Overall quality and service is inconsistent.
There is a pan shop right outside the restaurant and he makes wonderful Pan 🙂 thats a must-try 😀
