There are plenty of Star Hotels in Chennai and one can be spoilt for choices when choosing a restaurant. If you’re the kind who isn’t really worried about budget, the options are endless, and this post isn’t really for you. 🙂 However, if you’re trying to figure out comparatively economical options which doesn’t dig a crater in your wallet, this post may be an interesting read. Check it out!
Many people aren’t aware of discounts on Swiggy DineOut and Zomato. If you book in advance, you can get as much as upto 50% off on Star Hotel Buffets which makes it more affordable. It may be interesting to know that Breakfast buffets at Star hotels are priced much lesser than lunch and dinners, and with these discounts applied, it is more than a steal! There’s also a yearly event GIRF – Great Indian Restaurant Festival, when quite a few restaurants put up good offers. You can try them too.
With increasing costs and Star hotel buffets priced upwards of 3K per person, a family of four has to shell out nothing less than 12-15K for a decent meal. That’s when these offers come in handy.
I have listed only the places I have visited this year, sorted by my most recent visit on the top. I have also marked my rating against each of these based on this specific experience. While some of them were very good, some weren’t all that great.
