Its located in a lane adjacent to Shree Kumaran Hotel, next to Cognizant gate in Thuraipakkam!
\nWe were there at around 12:45 and were one of the earlybirds for lunch. Many people started to come in while we were finishing around 13:30.
\nOur Order – Chicken Biryani wasn’t available, so ordered 1 Mutton Biryani for wifey and 1 Kuska for myself. Asked for Chicken specialities, they recommended Chinthamani Chicken and Chicken 65 boneless (Pallipalayam chicken was not available).
\nThe Biryani was served in a Dhonnai, and I loved the nice subtle flavor in the biryani. The rice grains were short, looked like seeragasamba. The accompaniments Raita and gravy were good. I was told the mutton pieces were soft and tender.
\nChinthamani Chicken was very good and loved the spices with red chillies (molaga vaththal). Chicken 65 was a mixed bag, few pieces were very good, few were very chewy, was a struggle to finish.
\nThe person asked me if I wanted some rice after Biryani, and mentioned it was complimentary ! The idea was good, however, not being a fan of white rice after Biryani, opted for another Kuska instead <\/span>
\nPaid 720 bucks in all, not that cheap, but since we enjoyed the meal, felt it was worth it. Chicken Biryani, a boiled egg would have been nice to have ! The open kitchen was kinda impressive!<\/p>\n
