Perfect Barbeques and Grills

Perfect Barbeques and Grills – This is the same restaurant that was earlier called Perfect Dine on the Bazar Road in Sadhasivam Nagar, in Madipakkam. I’ve not visited this place earlier, but they seem to have renovated the place and tweaked the cuisine to include barbecue and grill items.

This place is on the main road that connects Velachery and Madipakkam, called the Bazar Road. It is obviously a very busy road and as always, parking a four-wheeler is next to impossible. You might be okay with a two-wheeler. Myself and a friend went in a bike and it was not a problem. The place was decent, and ambience was basic, nothing worth raving about.
We entered around 3:00 PM, a bit late for lunch. The place was empty. There were quite a few waiters, all from the North-East and were very welcoming ! We were in no mood to experiment, so went with pretty much standard stuff. Mutton Biryani for my friend and Egg Biryani for me. We also ordered a Chicken-65 boneless. The waiter appreciated me for my choice 🙂 He said the Biryani was very good there. I liked his attitude. Amidst waiters who barely talk, this guy was different, very confident.
We got the food served in about 10 minutes. Decent portion, and the biryani tasted good. I thought it was slightly oily, but then, not even close to complaining. My friend said the mutton in his biryani was good. The accompaniment that came along with it however tasted like kaara kozhambu 😛 and the Raita was decent. Boneless Chicken-65 was good. Soft, and I liked the little twist with chat masala sprinkled on it. It was tasty.
No complaints with the food or service and it was pretty much a decent experience. The prices were okay, A little less than 500 bucks for all these including a bottle of water that was priced at 25 bucks.
Would I be keen to visit again? Not really, but I would certainly dine here if I find myself looking for a place to eat in and around Madipakkam.
