A nice vegetarian meal at Hotel Maris, on R K Salai. Everything from the food to service was good.
The restaurant was packed at around 1:00PM. Unlimited Meals was served on a plantain leaf and it was priced at Rs 100 plus tax (Rs 120 totally) which is absolutely VFM considering the taste and quantity. It gave a feeling of eating at home, and not a restaurant. This is my first time here and it was indeed a very nice experience.
However, If I were asked to choose between this place and Sangeetha, I would choose the latter because of a little bit of a more restaurant-ish feeling in the food. The paneer butter masala, however south-indian it may be, would have been better with the chapathi 😉 That’s my preference of course !
