A wonderful trip with family.  Stayed at the Executive Inn and here’s my review –

We were two families on a leisure trip to Pondicherry for a weekend. I was surprised looking at so many positive reviews on Tripadvisor and really wanted to take a chance. I should say they truly lived up to our expectation, or in fact, exceeded our expectation.

We booked two Deluxe Suites on the ground floor. A decent ambience that was welcoming. The place was very clean, neat and comfortable. A good night sleep is assured. Bathroom was clean with basic toiletries included.

There is a multi-cuisine restaurant ‘Food Fun’ in the hotel. We ate here twice apart from the complimentary breakfast, and both the times, the food was really good. It took a while to get the food we ordered, but since we had a lot to chat, we didn’t really mind the delay. Complimentary buffet breakfast was good too.

The check-in and check-out was smooth. The people at the reception were very warm and helped us with directions, suggestions for sight-seeing, routes and so on. Really appreciate that.

The place is close to Aurobindo Ashram, Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Rocky Beach, and the French colony. ie. walkable in about 5-10 minutes max. So a very nice location indeed.

Overall, our stay at this place was very memorable and we are sure to stay here again if we visit Pondicherry.

Room Tip: 101, 102 and 103 are Deluxe Suites on the ground floor.
